Fallon Clinic Completes Purchase of Diagnostic Imaging Facility
— Clinic Adds New MRI Capability —
WORCESTER, Mass., March 3, 2008 — Fallon Clinic announced today that it has finalized the purchase of the imaging facility, formerly known as Diagnostic Health of Worcester, at 300 Grove Street in Worcester. The new site will be called Precision Medical Imaging at Fallon Clinic. With this purchase, Fallon Clinic has added Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to its array of diagnostic imaging capabilities.
The new facility will continue to provide Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Mammography, Ultrasound, CT and plain film. Fallon Clinic also offers a variety of imaging services at its Gold Star Boulevard location in Worcester, as well as in 10 of its clinical sites throughout Central Massachusetts. Over time, Fallon Clinic will roll out the new name - Precision Medical Imaging – to all of its diagnostic imaging operations.
Operations and services at the new site, formerly owned by Alabama-based Diagnostic Health Corporation (DHC), will continue without interruption. All previously scheduled patient appointments will be honored and the hours of operation will remain unchanged.

"Our intent is to build on the existing strengths of the facility by making the capital investments necessary to create a first class imaging resource."
