We understand the importance of your relationship with your primary physician. The hospitalist is a partner for your regular doctor – not a substitute. When you’re admitted, we collaborate closely with your internist or family practitioner. Your doctor is apprised of your status and regularly consulted regarding your condition, diagnosis, and treatment. After discharge, your physician gets a thorough, final update of your status to streamline your continuing post-hospitalization care.
